About GM Mountaineering
GM Mountaineering and all its instructors are well aware of the environmental impact outdoor activities can have on our fragile planet. Our aim is simple: “To enjoy the outdoor world, leaving it as close to its natural state as possible: leave no trace”.

We endeavour to ensure sustainability and safety in all the activities delivered.

GM Mountaineering is based within the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland's premier adventure playground.

GMM is run by Graeme Morrison who has a wealth of experience in teaching and coaching in the outdoors. He holds the Mountaineering Instructor's Certificate and is responsible for the design, development and delivery of the courses offered.

Graeme has high mountain and climbing experience in the Alps, Himalaya, North America and Antarctica and is Technical Advisor for a number of organisations based in Scotland. He has special interests in the coaching of climbing, disability awareness and the Curriculum for Excellence Through Outdoor Learning.

To ensure maximum learning and safety GMM only uses fully qualified and experienced freelance instructors who are also members of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors.
